Artist's Description
To get the full river and to avoid all the branches that would have been in the r/s of the image, I stood in the Animas River with waterproof insulated boots during this Photo Run-by of the Winter Photographer's freight Special on the Durango & Silverton Railroad. The steam locomotive is a former Denver & Rio Grande Western Narrow Gauge K-28.
