Imagine if you were John Wayne, or a Navajo, and you were on horseback riding up to this. Perhaps, you were Forest Gump running and you stopped running to turn around, and this was what you saw. That was actually the scene in Forest Gump.
This famous stretch of highway from Utah leading into Arizona and the epic Navajo Nation is not new to photographers. However, I wanted to do something very unique.
I took a vintage Scwinn Wasp from the 1950's and loaded it down with period correct antique road gear and photographed it at this location. The dramatic inversion created a mist like fog that combined with the clouds and the snow, made for a very rare photogtraph
