This was taken off of Owl Creek Pass in the San Juans as part of my 8 days of shooting fall colors. Talking with this rancher who posed for over one hour of late afternoon sun on his ranch, he mentioned that his chaps and saddle were over 100 years old, the hat, boots and spurs was over 80, and his coat was near 75. He dressed up just for this shoot.
