It was 5AM when the alarm went off. There was a full moon and the sky looked like a good sunrise was in the making. I packed up my gear and entered the north gate at Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Colorado.
Looking for the right spot, I came near an elevated pull out. I hiked a bit to get to this location. Wind blowing and near sub zero temperatures with the wind chill, I began shooting. Sometimes, it's just dumb luck and that morning was just that.
