Ken Smith has a passion for photography, a desire to see beautiful landscapes, and a love for trains, and vintage automobiles. Put them all together, and Ken has the blessings of being able to express his passion, love, and desire on film. Ken sold his first photograph over 35 years ago, and has been behind the camera ever since. He loves what he does, and he constantly strives to be the best that he can be with the gifts that he has been blessed with.
Kenís photographic work has been published in national magazines such as Finescale Railroader, Model Railroading, The On30 Annual, The Narrow Gauge Annual, The Logging, Mining, and Industrial Annual, and Light Iron Digest.
Ken produced the No Frills Picture CD product line that was developed in 2004 and has sold tens of thousands of photo CDs, DVDs, and screensavers across the globe. Ken also sells his artwork worldwide through an art agency as well as exhibiting at select museums, exhibitions, gift shops, art shows and transportation shows throughout the US.
In 2013, Ken has appeared in the Visions of Light exhibition at the Tri Lakes Art Gallery in Monument, Colorado and in the Rail Transportation Exhibit in the Union Pacific Depot Gallery in Cheyenne, WY. For 2014, Ken will have a private exhibit for the Colorado Department of Transportation scheduled for the month of January, 2014 and a public exhibit at the Art on the Edge Gallery in Castle Rock, CO with a date to be determined.
