Artist's Description
This former Denver & Rio Grande Western K-36 class steam locomotive weaves around these rock formations on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad just outside Sublet, Colorado.
I took this photograph on a private freight photo charter. In post production, I added the painting effects to give this a look like an oil painting. The brush strokes are fine on the locomotive and get more broad and thicker as the scenery expands in the image. This piece would look good on canvas.
