Rio Grande Southern Galloping Goose #4 makes its first run ever at the Colorado Railroad Museum in June 2012. It went through a 2 year restoration project and went from being a static display to an operational unit.

After I finished with a base HDR image, I began adding rays of light beams pushing through the trees and added a few layers of tones to give this a more early morning look.

The last time Goose #4 would have passed this Rio Grande Southern Caboose would have been around 1954. This picture is like a moment in history brought back to life again.
