Description
It's nightime in Durango. The K-28 sits between two K-36 class locomotives as the work day has ended. The fire has been dropped in all three locomotives and they sit with just wood chips in the firebox just to keep the steam in the boiler up to pressure needed.
This was a very rare photo shoot on the Durango & Silverton Railroad. Additional layers of tones and steam were added to give this image a more nostalgic look.
